Today we said goodbye to this sweet and amazing creature. You were the bestest boy, Randy. You filled our home with love and silliness and were the most reliable alarm clock. We love and miss you so much. May you enjoy endless jars of peanut butter & sun naps beyond the 🌈 bridge

Students get feedback on Pactful project proposals and prototypes. Next steps- students will refine their prototypes and prepare a pitch to present ideas. @PactfulApp @USD_JI #GlobalGoals

A break in the rain allowed us to test out our giant marble run. Students created their own panels that fit together in flexible arrangements.

@BethKleinman @RasmusCarlsson8 @birdbraintech @microbit_edu I intentionally keep instructions vague to give students the freedom to design. The only requirements were to use at least two sensors or inputs and two or three “outputs”- motors, lights or sound. This pair of students came up with this design.

@WhyMaker @birdbraintech @microbit_edu I can’t take the credit… I told students to create something using at least two inputs/sensors and at least two “outputs” and then let them run with it. This was all the work of a pair of 7th graders over the course of three weeks.
