i will forever be sad about so many horror books being collections of short stories simply because i never like them it upsets me how much literature i won't bond with

@glitterpricked i was also left disappointed a bit because i could feel it was building up to something just for it to fall flat :/ but an average under 3 is a bit of a lie imo😭

@ovichfitz i was also surprised by saha's rating being so low even though i didn't enjoy it that much because the potential was definitely there! i guess her other books being more critically acclaimed made saha feel more like a messy debut or something

honestly i was kinda meh with how my reading year started but i've been having such a good time with the books i picked up recently i'm so happy

@devilsbeloved so i just finished the hounding and it was like that! my year of rest and relaxation the unworthy kinda it lasts forever and then it's over i who have never known men y/n therese raquin they don't necessarily all fit perfectly but they gave me interesting female characters!!!
