🛑 Bengaluru Rain Alert
🛑 Bengaluru Rain Alert@Bengalururain·
@oyerashmi We have dispatched the clouds and moisture for Bengaluru's rain. However, we are facing logistical issues in transporting the clouds due to high pressure over central India. Our team is working tirelessly, and rainfall and clouds will arrive between 27 April and 5 May. Thank you

@shobhitic And this has diluted the value of real referrals where one can vouch for the other person based on past experience of working together.

indians in general have bastardized the concept of referrals what it means to refer a person to your company is that you vouch for this person and will put your trust in them what's happening is that you're referring any and everyone in hopes of getting paid that referral money

A couple of months ago, I made one of the hardest decisions of my life: I left my cushy, high-paying (₹1 Cr+) job without another offer in hand. No plan. No backup. Just the decision that I needed a break—a real one—for the first time in my decade-long career.

@iamstake Seeing similar trend for Diljeet concert in Bangalore. Have been approached by multiple people for resale at MRP or lower.

Dua Lipa resale market was so bad, people were selling Gold passes at 2K outside the venue, which had MRP of 13.5K And yes, the Gold zone wasn’t as packed as it should have. Dua / Zomato will try to hide those empty passages in pictures somehow. Promoters should really think twice before putting tickets on sale at such absurd prices. Same thing will repeat for Maroon 5. If you don’t have a Maroon 5 ticket yet, just don’t buy now and go outside venue on the show day and purchase from there at literally 50-60% discount. Resellers will do anything to get rid of those tickets and end up selling you at insanely cheap price.

It's great to see so many people sharing amazing pictures of the Swiggy IPO. Watching the Indian tech startup ecosystem grow to reach such milestones is just so blissful.

Sometimes we need to acknowledge that things which makes our parents / grandparents excited about may not be same as the things WE THINK they will like. I would want to take my grand MIL for a fancy dinner or a trip but here is she is happier to visit a goshala.

Been a week now, quick update on medycin: - getting 2-3 orders daily - average order value is ₹200 - more than 90% orders were fulfilled - 10% failure - medicine not available at the partner store (users choose to cancel the entire order) - feedback noted - 2-3 orders requested daily from unserviceable areas - most of the medicines were from Over-The-Counter category - did offline marketing on first day - spent ₹11,500 - fuel burn ~ around ₹500 (total) - delivery partner charged ~ ₹500/day (5 days) - because i have a full time job so had to hire someone to deliver medicines - online marketing by asking friends to post stories on Instagram, whatsapp running a one or two month pilot in a tier-1 city like blr could be an excellent way to drive more orders and gather valuable insights. this approach would help refine the strategy and enhance the overall customer experience based on more feedback and more data.
