The level of “anyhowness” in the Nigerian music industry is honestly baffling sometimes. How do you, as one of the biggest rappers in the country, drop what is arguably the biggest song of your career… and then lose it because the beat wasn’t cleared? You have a manager. You have a record label. You have a whole team. And not one person thought ahead to secure the rights to a beat on a diss track that’s already pulling millions of streams? That’s not a small oversight, that’s a costly mistake. What makes it even crazier is the irony of it all. The same Chiwetalu Agu you referenced in the song ends up buying the beat, and boom, the track gets taken down. That’s a plot twist nobody could script. At the end of the day, it just shows that talent and buzz alone aren’t enough. The business side of music, rights, clearances, and ownership, is just as important. Because one small “we’ll sort it later” mistake can wipe out a massive moment overnight.

Odumodu now owns the beat used to sing ACL, and since OD never gave them permission to use his beat, the song is being takem down on platforms. Can you still see ACL on Spotify and Co? OD is the king of petty🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
