@queryunreturned Just because she's a child star doesn't make her any less of a woman and she's right we should support all women including trans women

@chicken_trapp @Labneh213 @Norm19751972 @Brocklesnitch @Mr_Paul_2022 and i truly do feel for those who lost careers. it's ridiculous. & i feel for the hardships that trans people go through generally. but i think a big dose of reality is needed about the honest state of trangender legal rights and healthcare.

@chicken_trapp @Labneh213 @Norm19751972 @Brocklesnitch @Mr_Paul_2022 i can certainly agree there that it was a politicized situation. but i still don't think it equates to the level of institutional oppression that women. and the obscuring of language that some trans people call for only further risks the sex-based & reproductive rights of women.

It's one thing to say older devices don't support some new feature or service or operating system. But to make the deliberate choice to brick a device that's working perfectly well, in order to force your customer to buy a new one, is a hostile act of predatory capitalism.

In an email to customers, Amazon announced that it would be ending service for Kindle devices older than the 2012 edition. Those devices will lose access to the Kindle Store. wired.com/story/amazon-p…

@chicken_trapp @Labneh213 @Norm19751972 @Brocklesnitch @Mr_Paul_2022 hmmm it sounds like a lot of treatment is involved. perhaps enough to justify a ban from the military under medical grounds even since it only applies to those with a GD diagnosis. you wouldn't want someone with severe unresolved trauma in a high stress military operation.

@queryunreturned @Labneh213 @Norm19751972 @Brocklesnitch @Mr_Paul_2022 matter; women’s medical care is severely lacking). And the you need continuing therapy as there’s likely unresolved trauma and always an explosion of emotions you never knew existed. Without family support, it’s easy to become severely depressed. There’s a lot to it

@chicken_trapp @Labneh213 @Norm19751972 @Brocklesnitch @Mr_Paul_2022 no trans people in the military is consistent with its listing in the dsm as a medical disorder. the military is well within its rights to not allow people to join for disabilities & disorders. as an epileptic w uncontrolled seizures, i wouldn't be allowed to join if i wanted to
