Spreadsheet update! I originally started this thing to see how much Jimin was represented in some way, shape or form on Suchwita, because I thought it was a LOT but wasn't sure. Then my OT7 heart just HAD to sit up and say, "Go see how much they're ALL represented, geek." (1/?)

@autumspice Your acceptance of their new music is admirable, but sometimes the new stuff just isn't to people's taste, & that's valid, too. But instead of raging against the new material & those who do love it, people need to figure out how to move through their feelings in a healthier way.

The only time I remove myself completely from an artist I love us when they do something so bad there's no coming back from it. Hate speech abuse actually unaliving someone. But if it's because of the music they are putting out people really need to let the artist try+

Here's the thing: I know what it feels like to stop loving an act you've loved for a long time. It happened to me. Fell hard for a Canadian musician when I was 18, traveled all over to see him and his band for 9 years. Loved his music, loved them - they were always so kind +

@rgoddes The resentment is one problem. They begin to resent them for it and resent those who are still fans because they can't understand how we are okay with it and they aren't. So they lash out at the group, at the fans. "If I can't still enjoy them, nobody can" type of vibes.

@rgoddes Sounds like my feelings for Bryan Adams. His early music still means the world to me and concerts in the 80s and 90s were awesome! But now? I didn’t even know he released a new album. We as people change so why do we expect artists we follow to NOT change and grow?

They took elements from the D-Day, Hope on the Stage, and Run Seokjin EP tours and perfected them for ARIRANG Tour.

better off. I'm sending you positive and healing energies if this is what's going on with you. Your feelings are valid - your constant criticism of the art and its fans in public are not; that's your pain talking. Work through it on your own rather than trying to make others +
