@srivastavanihit @INCIndia @priyankagandhi @RahulGandhi @Pawankhera @BJP4India Mr Srivastava, you should consult a psychiatrist.
English

@dubeyjikahin Funny how a retard like you can take on one of the most respected and highly accomplished lawyers in India. And that too with Sanghi filth that belongs in drains not in civil discourse. Consult a doctor. You likely have bile in your peanut brain.

@sumanthraman Well, Puerto Ricans are not known for planning and long term thinking.

The most powerful Govt in the world did not realise that airspace may be closed if missiles and drones are flying around???
Aaron Rupar@atrupar
Q: Was there a plan in place to evacuate Americans before the attack? MARCO RUBIO: That's the plan we're trying to carry out. The problem is airspace closures.

@SupriyaShrinate While I understand your use of Hindi, it shows disregard for those who don’t use the language.

My latest #TharoorThink column mounts a robust defence of the English language in India while rejecting the Macaulay mindset. We can use English to connect to the world while refusing to allow it to disconnect us from ourselves:

English

@MrSandeepPhogat @Jairam_Ramesh Mr Phogat, you sound like your leader: bigoted and ignorant.
English

@Jairam_Ramesh Sir, your "TrumpTracker" obsession with PM Modi is telling, while Trump slaps tariffs on India despite Modi's outreach, you're amplifying his every word to undermine our sovereignty. Congress's pattern is clear: siding with Trump's narrative on "stopping" Operation Sindoor (61 times?!) and mediation claims, echoing his pressure on our Russia ties, all while staying silent on US favoritism toward Pakistan. This isn't oversight; it's opportunism, cheering foreign interference that weakens India's stand against terror.
And let's talk anti-national playbook: From alleging ECI "sinister designs" to rig elections and destroy democracy via voter rolls—to backing JKNC's anti-reservation push that hands quotas to separatists, Congress thrives on division. Rahul's US rants defaming India abroad? Check. Manifesto whispers of wealth grabs that echo old anti-Hindu tropes? Double check. You're not critiquing policy; you're eroding unity, from Kashmir to global stages.
India chose Modi for strength, hugplomacy or not, he navigates Trump without selling out. Your crew? Always auditioning for the opposition's role in foreign scripts. Time to drop the tracker and track real progress: Viksit Bharat. Jai Hind! 🇮🇳

The Prime Minister is attending the G20 Summit in South Africa today and tomorrow. He is doing so safely and securely since President Trump and the US are boycotting the summit. Recall that Mr. Modi didn't go to Kuala Lumpur a few days back for the India-ASEAN Summit since he would then have to come face-to-face with President Trump.
It is extraordinary that the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said that the US opposes South Africa's G20 themes of solidarity, equality, and sustainability on the grounds that they amount to anti-Americanism. It is incidentally the very same Marco Rubio who was the first, at 5:37 PM on May 10th, to announce to the world the abrupt halt to Operation Sindoor.
The G20 Presidency rotates annually. India had taken over from Indonesia in Nov 2023 and had handed over to Brazil in Nov 2024. Now South Africa is to hand over to the US which will not be present.
So the next G20 Summit a year from now will be in the US. By then, presumably, India's trade (or)deal with the US will be done. But if in the past seven months, President Trump has claimed 61 times that he halted Operation Sindoor imagine how many more times he will repeat those claims in the next twelve months. Will huglomacy with 'my good friend' revive or whether there will be just handshakes or whether Mr. Modi doesn't go - time alone will tell

@RPrabhu2022 @Jairam_Ramesh @DrAMSinghvi @KapilSibal @PChidambaram_IN What an idiotic comment. @Jairam_Ramesh has done citizens a service. Legal action will follow but first people must know about the crime.

It is most disappointing that the outgoing Chief Justice of India has opened a door for a review of the May 16, 2025, judgment of the two judge bench of the Supreme Court that had barred retrospective environmental approvals.
Retrospective environmental clearances are sought deliberately by companies who are well aware of the laws but still violate them knowingly with a ‘baadme dekha jayega' attitide. There are numerous examples of this approach. Retrospective approvals are bad in law and make a mockery of governance.
This decision of the Chief Justice is doubly disappointing since just yesterday he had directed the Uttarakhand Govt to restore and repair ecological damage at the Corbett Tiger Reserve caused by illegal tree felling and unauthorised construction. In addition, last week he had issued an order banning all mining activity within a kilometre of any national park or wildlife sanctuary. The Chief Justice had also put on hold the Rajasthan Govt's proposal to redraw the boundaries of the Sariska Tiger Reserve and had directed the Jharkhand Govt to declare two rich forest areas as wildlife sanctuaries after fulfilling the provisions of the Forest Rights Act, 2006.
Retrospective approvals with penalties howsoever heavy is no solution. It only regularises the by-passing of laws.

@DebarghoBa88937 @MattooShashank @SwayingSayings Our side? Which one is that? Modi, Doval and other losers?

@nsitharaman @RahulGandhi It’s a shame the finance minister makes a grammatical mistake: “His remarks on late Shri. Arun Jaitley IS (?) despicable.”
But then the saffronista wear their lack of education as a badge,
English

If irresponsibility has a face, it is @RahulGandhi, Leader of Opposition in LS. To throw baseless allegations at people in public life, even those who are no longer with us, is becoming a personality trait in him. His remarks on late Shri. Arun Jaitley is despicable.
India needs a strong opposition party. An irresponsible leadership hurts his party @INCIndia and the country. But does he care?
ANI@ANI
#WATCH | Delhi: At the Annual Legal Conclave- 2025, Lok Sabha LoP and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi says, "I remember when I was fighting the farm laws, Arun Jaitley ji was sent to me to threaten me. He told me "if you carry on opposing the govt, fighting the farm laws, we will have to act against you". I looked at him and said "I don't think you have an idea who you are talking to"..."
English

@JustPunforfun That’s debatable. What’s not is the proposition you are don’t understand larger issues.
Sometimes, it’s good to keep quiet.
English

@ranjalrajesh @Jairam_Ramesh @ShashiTharoor Dear two-bit troll, stay out matters that need a minimal education to comprehend.
English

It's good to know that Khera & JRR are reading Tharoor's book as they were busy earlier reading only a select few books like The Discovery of India or Glimpses of World History. Thanks @ShashiTharoor you have changed the reading habits of the wily old fox & the peon or should I say "rehabilitating" in your parlance

* An internally torn Bangladesh stops India from fencing the border.
* Nepal's PM breaks tradition by going not to India but to China on his first foreign visit, signaling his intent to pivot away from India.
* Sri Lankan navy fires on unarmed Indian fishermen, wounding several.
* Maldives president, after securing generous Indian financial aid for the struggling Maldivian economy, signs his country's first FTA with China.
What do these developments say about India's foreign policy?
