Vassell was the 2nd best ball handler at points in the Spurs regular season, I'm not sure why he was relegated to the same role Champagnie. He's their best midrange scorer - where was he when the coverage was veer backs to Wemby?

Brunson was doing bully ball the entire series and tried to get himself going, sometimes to the detriment of his team and making KAT's life harder. But when OKC started losing guys, Shai needed to be score first and he was too passive for far too long in games. He's the MVP.

there are similarities to criticize about them and that's what a lot of the attitudes online are based on but how Brunson played, well or not, is precisely what Shai didn't do and partly why OKC were in such a hole until the last 2 games.

Spurs were ready to win. Their coach was not. Obviously no team will ever fire their head coach after going f to the Finals like that, but I would be very interested in ensuring I replace Sean Sweeney with a veteran head coach as lead assistant
