Really thought Guehi was no.1 CB for England and it would be a straight shootout between Stones and Konsa for the other spot. BBC seem to think it’s Guehi benched. They haven’t 100% confirmed it but no smoke without fire etc. Either way, we trust Tuchel, they’re all good CBs.

@SebOnFootball Seb mate the problem is quite clearly us, not him. There hasn’t been a single indication that WE want HIM to play for us. And when you’re as good as him, it’s insulting. I’m sure he’d love to play for us but he doesn’t feel love or belief from the club, so ofc he’ll feel that way

The thing that majorly worries me is that I think it’s pretty clear Vuskovic sees his future away from Tottenham. Not one indication he’s keen to play for us this summer

A smart club know a not so smart club has given their manager total control and will probably be forced to sell one of the best U21 talents in Europe. I'm all for backing Roberto De Zerbi, but the you have to accept decisions like this and it's a really bad one…

This means Van Hecke to Tottenham is a done deal . Spurs get Van , they sell Vuskovic to Brighton. Good deal for both parties

@Yidsssssss @Daily_Hotspur He’s not terrible on the ball, it’s just not his primary role. Look at the aerial duel %, vuskovic is a much better defender. What’s the point being ‘good on the ball’ if you can’t defend? Besides, Van hecke has a lowlight tape of all the costly errors he’s made losing the ball

He was the best defender in the Bundesliga last season, is in the team of the season, and in a player vote, vuskovic ranked higher than HARRY KANE as being the best player in the Bundesliga. It is absolutely not just potential. He is worth 100m right now

Brighton with the cheekiest of bids for Luka Vuskovic… 5 days before Croatia’s World Cup starts, a tournament that will alert the world to Vuskovic’s talent, ramping up his value significantly… They bid £30m. He is already one of the best U21 centre backs in Europe, with the potential to be one of the best in the world. Despite the likely arrival of Van Hecke, to join Senesi, I wouldn’t consider selling him for less than £60m this summer. There’s just no need. Selling him before he even makes an appearance for the club, would be one of the biggest mistakes Spurs have made in the last 10 years.

I do think it’s mad that there’s always so much conversation around Bellingham when he’s clearly a ridiculously good footballer, but did think Rogers was also pretty good when he came on. He’s also done really well generally under Tuchel. That no.10 spot is in good hands.

@LouisFinne52395 Hardly anyone has said he won’t start, just that there’s competition in his position, so he has to perform to keep his spot. Rogers has played more football and been in better form the past few months. You’d still expect Bellingham to start tho. It’s a good problem to have
