CONGRATULATIONS to Captain Paul Horton on his retirement. Captain Horton has served his community with passion, kindness, and empathy from November 17, 1997 to his official retirement date of December 31, 2025. In addition to the community benefiting from his contributions, so have we. Captain Horton has worked tirelessly for us on our Union Executive. Whenever our members needed support, guidance, or comfort- we knew we could call Paul. He has impacted many lives in so many ways, we are all so grateful to have worked with him. Carrying on his legacy after he retires, is his son, (soon to be appointed an Acting Captain) Robert Horton here at CYFS. Thank you to Paul and the Horton family for sharing him with us for so long. We wish him all the fun and relaxation that retirement can bring!
