@PavolRusnak @murchandamus This is the only sane answer so far. Original trezor 1 3x pack, use 1 save the others in case 1 fails. Follow the instructions, keep the seed word paper in the safe & 1 copy at the bank. Write down the password where other passwords are kept.

#DearCryptoMemeTeam
An advertisement / office-safety-style poster of a person trying to access their physical old school wallet, but it's in a guarded vault next to a guard who's inspecting their paperwork to approve access.
Needs slogans about "hosted wallet" "safety".

@sulfuroid why not plug a USB keyboard into the thing directly to program it?
English

@anilpatel Optical disks are not obsolete. Like tape, they are used for archival purposes. Gold is also not obsolete, it is used in industrial and medical applications, as well as in wearable jewelry.

@CFDevelop gives the backers time to scare people into allowing them to pass new laws/regs that will secure their extremely heavy bags

@NegentropyorDie Fastest and cheapest way to bootstrap is sneakernet
English

@rusticbison Understood. I'm thinking of those in some of the areas with the fastest adoption that also may have cost constraints such as Nigeria.
English

@NegentropyorDie To validate the chain faster you need a faster CPU (and maybe more RAM). A simple way to avoid witness bloat would be to use an older version of core (pre v0.16 I think) that doesn't support segwit
English

@rusticbison Lets say you trim witness data older than X blocks to get up and running quicker (esp for nodes w/cost constraints) and then backfill older witness data over time?

@nate_zec If you enable a catch-all (*@yourdomain), you can give every person their own email address. This also helps you learn quickly if a service has been compromised.
English

@NicolasDorier seems it is yet another bitcoin eternal september, where people won't listen, build stupid shit, get angry when it stops working, complain to media, try to fork, then the leader rage quits and starts a shitcoin/becomes a bank employee
English

@rusticbison well it's too simple to tldr: Bitcoin is made for transferring money and people try to use it for something else. I think it isn't a good idea, but hardly worth fighting.
