Engenes, stop listening to accounts that encourage harassment, defamation, or obstruction of business -they're exposing you to serious legal risks. 1/ Mass spamming official SNS accounts qualifies as harassment. 2/ Contacting retailers, investors, or businesses with complaints can lead to charges of defamation or obstructing business operations. 3/ Spreading unproven claims - like Heeseung being "kicked out" - constitutes defamation. Please be more careful - think twice before posting or retweeting. If you're unsure whether something is legal, steer clear and protect yourself. Oh, and bragging about your achievements is handing out evidence for a potential lawsuit 👇

Can someone tell her she’s begging for a lawsuit? By now Hybe has enough reports of her constantly crossing the legal line to start building a case. I've seen people reporting starting with March 14 until now. South Korea has both civil and criminal liability for defamation and “obstruction of business,” and these already apply to online speech, including in entertainment. If fans spread false factual claims about Belift or the members (like inventing abuse, fraud, or crimes) while urging brands and investors to drop them, that can cross into defamation with intent to cause harm and open them up to civil damages or even criminal complaints.

NO BOYCOTT | SEE HIGHLIGHTS
NO BOYCOTT | SEE HIGHLIGHTS@heewontruther·
@ENSSERALLIT for some reason i cannot post my reply so qrt it is. i appreciate you engaging genuinely, so let me be honest: a lot of your reasoning circles back to the same point without answering the mechanism question. "the company is bad → should boycott → boycott isn't working → that's bcz the company is bad → should boycott harder" the company being bad is the premise, not the strategy. so let me try to break that loop. i never said do nothing. the real conversation is about what actions actually help versus what causes unintended damage. + on mismanagement: none of what u mentioned is okay and i'm not dismissing it. but follow your own logic through. you said these companies are driven by money and are never morally correct. i agree. but that undermines the boycott, not justifies it. if belift lab operates purely on financial calculations, the question isn't whether they deserve anger - it's whether a divided, inconsistent boycott moves those calculations. it doesn't. hybe survived the ador situation, sustained public criticism, multiple mismanagement allegations across its labels. none of it changed how they operate. expecting a morally bankrupt company to reverse course under fan pressure is applying consumer boycott logic to an entity that isn't built to respond that way. + trucks, tags, petitions directed at belift: legitimate. i've never argued against those. what i'm arguing against is pressure with no boundaries - and you know exactly what i'm referring to. the NPS is a pension investor with zero authority over idol contracts or group compositions. the civil servants on the other end of those 1,000+ emails manage retirement funds for millions of korean workers. and what makes it worse is that some who participated then tried to offset it by donating to an unrelated fund. that's not accountability, that's performance. you can't flood a public institution with misdirected pressure and donate your way out of it. + "there's no content to boycott yet" is not the defense you think it is. it's a countdown. the album, fancon, and merch are coming. if this is genuinely a financial pressure campaign against belift lab, his solo is the most direct revenue line from the exact decision being protested - it literally would not exist without it. is the boycott community organizing right now to extend that pressure to his debut? because the silence on that front, while maintaining the boycott on the six, is already your answer. the movement will stop short the moment it requires targeting someone fans still love. which tells you this was never a financial strategy. it was grief, and it landed on the six people who had no say in any of this. + on renewal: i've been an engene since early 2022 and a kpop fan for way longer. the pattern in this industry is never as simple as ‘bad company = leave = better life’. artists leave SM, JYP, HYBE and end up somewhere with no infrastructure, no promotion budget, no global reach, sometimes worse conditions. the recent Cha Gawon scandal is one example among many, feel free to look it up. belift lab has real problems, but it also has the infrastructure that gives these members market reach and negotiating power a smaller label can't replicate. the members know their contracts and options in ways we never will. fyi, hating belift lab is a shared sentiment between u and me, but i ain’t boycott to get them out. i simply choose to help them elevate their commercial strength, and honestly, that's much more doable. fans deciding from the outside what's best for someone else's career is pure entitlement. + boycotters argue that streaming revenue is negligible - that artists earn so little per stream it barely dents the company. if that's true, then the boycott was never about money. but if streaming doesn't matter financially, what exactly is being withheld? because what streaming does matter for is charts, and charts are not about per-stream revenue, they're about industry signal. charts determine brand deals, endorsements, festival bookings, collaboration opportunities, the visibility that follows the members into every negotiation they'll ever have. a weak chart performance becomes part of how the industry reads them going forward. so the choice is simple: either streaming doesn't matter, in which case the boycott is pointless, or it does matter, in which case it's actively damaging the members' commercial standing. there is no version where the boycott is both meaningful enough to pressure belift and harmless enough to not affect the members. think about what the members are actually experiencing right now. they're trying to move forward while being constantly bombarded with messaging about heeseung's departure across everything they put out. that's not pressure on belift. that's pressure on them, who are trying to move forward, prove themselves under scrutinity. and heeseung is about to debut with a fresh start he's worked toward. if you care about him, let his debut be about his music and his work, not a continuation of a fight that was never his to carry. ‘accept it’ was never meant as ‘give up’. the difference is between looking for one absolute way to destroy a company versus building strength around the members. the first is a fantasy - hybe will not be brought down by your disorganized boycott campaign. the second is actionable right now. if you want to fight for them, fight in ways that leave them stronger, not in ways that leave the fandom divided and exhausted while the company stays exactly where it was.
luci@ENSSERALLIT

so i want to make sure i'm understanding your points accordingly, from what you said we should just accept it because at the end of the day we dont know the full story and just continue supporting the other 6. no one knows the full story, theres things here and there that we can agree on, that this wasn't planned accordingly and his departure felt rushed. but have you noticed in the past even prior to all of this how mismanaged enhypen has been. for the past 6 years, constant overworking, not protecting the members how a company should, and way more. also to clarify, theres more to support than just buying all their stuff, and streaming their music. do you think that we shouldn't even send trucks or drop tags, or sign petitions at all then. we should just simply accept it? how can you be sure this company is telling the truth though? because looking at my point of view these companies are never morally correct, they're driven by money. also calling us hypocrites for not boycotting heeseung's activities when theres no content to be boycotted just makes no sense. what do you want us to boycott exactly? you guys want them to renew in a company where their conditions are clearly not good. so what i'm getting from your explanation is that we should just believe the company and continue supporting them as 6 members right? and i'm trying to listen to your point, and reason with you. thats why id like a bit of clarification on what exactly this means to you.

People claiming that Hee was kicked out, locked in a basement, or forced out clearly have never signed even a basic rental or utilities contract. A contract binds both sides; each party has concrete rights and obligations. The only way he could realistically be “kicked out” is if he seriously messed up and breached the contract. Otherwise, he has the power, the legal right, and the money to drag Belift into court himself. So he wouldn’t need a screaming fandom - he’d need a competent lawyer. He has a family, parents, an older brother for support, and the financial resources to secure top-tier advice and protection, so everyone needs to calm down. That’s not what’s happening here. He chose to leave because it was a better option for him and wouldn’t impose on the other members; no one is in breach of the contract, and I’m pretty sure his new contract is super favorable to him.

Ha, Hybe might be under pressure from investors - but that's to take legal action and teach a lesson to crazy fans. This is the second time after Bunnies took things too far - I don't think they want there to be a third time. It's totally possible investors with big stakes in music and K-pop wanna make an example outta a few instigators and draw a hard line on fan antics.

@enhalover18 You gave them all the evidence needed to go after you. I'm not kidding. Be more careful about what you're doing and whom you're listening to, and don't blindly follow. I don't mean any harm to you - it is your "leaders" who are putting you in a great deal of trouble.

For everyone who was emailing or calling the NPS, brands, and other investors last week, you might want to start thinking about what you’ll tell your parents. Your emails include metadata such as IP addresses, and phone logs and numbers can be traced back to your identity. If any of these entities or Belift decide to file criminal complaints or civil lawsuits, that information will be used to identify you. Being outside Korea doesn’t make you untouchable – you can still get banned from ever entering the country, and they can still go after you in civil court. Good luck and don't forget to tell us how it goes!

Riki's comment section is a mess! he can’t possibly keep up with the noise. at this point, i wouldn't mind a paid subscription if it meant actual fans could finally be heard over this chaos. between jobless trolls and literal kids flooding every post, meaningful interaction is dead! just leave Weverse out of it, we need at least one sacred spot. let the six of them connect with the people who are still here and respecting the new direction of the group 🫩

if the boys are inactive on weverse, it's always "they're being silenced by the company" and the moment they starts being active, yall start overanalyzing every move, every word and every emoji coming from them. the moment they post sumn, yall start spamming tags under comments. if they reply to an acc with a hee pic, "it's a sign" and if they delete a comment it's "they're being forced". if they reply to a user with "enhypen is 7" on their username, it's "they're trying to hint us sumn". if they don't come live, "the company clearly holding them back from speaking up" and if they come live, you will start spamming on comments and what not? also I thought yall knew weverse translations are ass but now when it comes to feeding your delusions, u choose to trust them more than you ever trusted your mother

It makes sense now why dropping the news before Melbourne was actually the smartest move. Seeing how fans are so unhinged, if they’d waited until after, with no big schedule in sight, without seeing the members all good and hyped, the whole fandom would be drowning in ao3‑style hospital notes and sign fics for every single one of them.
