@omgsidewalks Most of my dreams are vivid and read like tv episodes or trippy YouTube videos made my creepy film students, so… I remember a good handful of the more interesting ones from over the years.

@TheCinesthetic Considering the first one was where “bad” animators got sent when they did the wrong thing or whatever (so I’ve heard), it makes sense. Although, the original will always be my favorite anyway.

Shrek 2 (2004) somehow improves on a perfect setup. Sharper jokes, bigger emotion, smarter pop culture riffs, and that finale with “Holding Out for a Hero” is an all timer. A sequel that understood the assignment and then leveled up.
