Don’t get me wrong, I agree with what you’re trying to do. You’ve probably heard this story before, I grew up as a Democrat in a blue-collar union household. By all accounts I should still be voting for your side, but things shifted so far left that I simply couldn’t keep voting for Democrats in good faith. I’m a Christian from the Midwest, and some of the outright debauchery the left has endorsed is something I just couldn’t support. The right seemed to have room for guys in the middle, while the left pretty much said you either agree with the far left on everything or we don’t want you. So I ended up finding a new home on the right. Look, all I want is no wars of choice, not being told I’m a racist or a Nazi for not conforming to a fringe ideology, and for corporations to be reined in so the balance between workers and employers can be restored. It just doesn’t seem like either party is interested in that middle ground anymore. I honestly don’t know where to go from here.
