@caracaraphilly i’ve always thought a paywall after an artist-determined amount of listens would help things a lot too (kinda like the way bandcamp did things)

hate this idea, but hear me out. WHAT IF albums + curated playlists on spotify had adds after every third song, everyone got paid way more, and we all then had an *actual* reason to stream less and listen to these piles of lps we've been buying to "support the touring bands."
