A wonderful day today for our "Bathurst Day" celebrations in honour of our Patron and our school community- marked with a beautiful Mass celebrated by Bishop Timothy Menezes and our School Chaplain Fr Roger. What a fantastic day together in Steadfast Faith!

Our Year 7 students had a wonderful opportunity to visit the parish of St Mary's on the Hill today, touring and learning the history of the Church and reflected through the Stations of the Cross - especially meaningful as our Patron is a part of the Parish History! #FaithInAction

In this Season of Lent, each year group is having the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. This morning, Year 10 experienced a time of prayer and Examination of Conscience before the Chapel was opened for Confessions. #Lent #CatholicLife

Today our 9A Tutor Mass was an early celebration of Saint John Bosco! Patron of Youth, Educator and Champion of the young who we look to for inspiration today and always! Saint John Bosco, Pray for Us! #CatholicLife

This formed part of a police initiative aimed at raising awareness around knife crime and youth violence. Students responded brilliantly and feedback shared how showed how powerful they found the experience.

As part of our ongoing work with West Midlands Police, Precious Lives delivered a series of presentations to Year 7-13 students on knife crime. The trainers share their experiences and pass on the lessons they’ve learnt. The workshop covered choices, decisions and consequences.

This morning, Year 7 gathered for a time of prayer and reflection on January's devotion, the Holy Name of Jesus! Taking time to reflect on the meaning of our own names, continuing the Jubilee theme of Hope and writing intentions and prayers for the New Year! #CatholicLife

As we return to the Green of Ordinary Time this week, the crib remains with us a little longer. We hold on to the wonder of Christmas until Candlemas, letting the light of Christ continue to guide our school community. 🕯️✨

Students sitting the Unit 2 Business examination should aim to arrive at school at 9.00am for a 9.30am start. Students sitting the Unit 2 IT examinations should aim to arrive at school at 12.45pm for a 13.00pm start.

Sixth Form students scheduled to sit vocational examinations are still expected to attend school in order to complete these exams. These students should enter the school via the school front gate and the examinations will take place in the School Theatre.

Due to the severe weather conditions, we have had to make the difficult decision to close the school to students today (Friday 09/01/2026). Work for students will be set on Google Classroom.

What a great buzz in school today for our careers fair . This was a great opportunity for our pupil’s to speak to a mixture of employers, college and universities about upcoming opportunities and pathways.
