Mareexan clan militias from Cabudwaaq have attacked and demolished a village in the outskirts of Cabudwaaq belonging to the Surre - Dir clan. They attributed the attack to the one on their village two days ago by the Saleeban clan militias. But it seems like they couldn’t get to their real attackers and are just taking it out on the most accessible village belonging to a weaker adversary.

Reports say Surre clan are now 3km outside of Caabudwaaq and have captured another Marexaan army commander alive 🚨

🚨Water well belonging to Marehan’s ugaas has been trashed by Surre clan militias, less than 5km from Cabudwaaq. The marehan ugaas who appeared on video confirming the attack, has begged Surre clan not to allow their militias to attack the well again. He vowed to rebuild the well but only if Surre can guarantee its security. Situation remains tense as land disputes grow between the two clans near the Ethiopian border.

🚨Fighting between Marehan & Surre clans resumes as Surre clan captures ‘Jabsiga’ village from Marehan militias overnight. Over dozen battlewagons & men belonging to Marehan have been captured. It was a quick & decisive victory for Surre but more fighting is expected as Marehan militias regroup and receive reinforcements.
