I had my operation yesterday and a great night’s sleep thanks to the care of the nursing staff. Had my breakfast, done my little arm exercises already. So today - recovery starts!

So thanks to catching COVID last week, my operation had to be rescheduled to 1st August. So I will be around for a few more weeks now before disappearing for a little while

Personal news
I’ve been diagnosed with breast cancer (DCIS) and will have a mastectomy on 4th July. It’s been a bumpy few weeks but I am coming to terms with it now. Thank you to everyone I’ve told for the kind words and to those who have shared their cancer experiences with me
