After the exposé. I for one was naive enough to think they stopped. Nah! We’ve since found vouchers worth 50,000,000,000/=! Almost three times more than what was exposed first! They didn't slam the brakes: they hit the accelerator HARD! For context, Jinja district local govt is operating a budget of 47 billion this financial year, while Soroti DLG budget is just 35.9 billion! That is their budget for everything: health, local roads, education, etc. Damn! 🙌🏾
