Another Friday 13th, but we're not worried. We have the usual blend of excellent music and #foodie news this Friday morning. We'll hear about the winner in the British Pie Awards and why Waitrose has stopped selling fresh mackerel. This and every Friday 10-12noon.

Obesity is not down to a gene, or we would see over weight people pre the 1970s and through-out history. Obesity is down to additives, processed foods, sugar added to everything, which has trained our taste buds to expect it, less physical jobs, more driving everywhere, less sport in schools and less physical activity in general. TOO MANY CALORIES. Think about it logically for just one second, if eating less didn’t mean we lost weight drugs like Mounjaro & Ozempic wouldn’t work. Weeks on an island with Bear Grylls wouldn’t we people lose weight, bypass operations wouldn’t work. It wont help us to lie or give excuses. If we want to find solutions, like everything we have to be truthful.
