@puppyochako But for sure, everyone in the Gaang has moments of weakness and also moments where they take the lead and demonstrate a lot of maturity, confidence, decisiveness and strength, so it is close to even across the board, all things considered

@puppyochako Makes a lot of sense, yes! He starts out pretty rough in season 1, but after getting his sexism checked, he really becomes a much more balanced and mature person. And I don't think his humorous nature should take away from that, because he's very serious where push comes to shove

Ngl the more I rewatch the show, the more "katara is the most mature in the gaang" take becomes less valid in my eyes.

@azulaservant Yet it doesn't feel forced. And her downfall is beautifully tragic, the scene of her defeated after the last agni kai is chilling bc it really makes you feel bad despite all the things she's done, esp since she's still just a kid and a victim too. Hope she gets redeemed someday

@azulaservant I really like her a lot! Her presentation + writing were so ingenious at times, the amount of aura she has is on a whole different level. The people who were writing her dialogue need to be commended so much because they really pulled off this 14 year old girl being intimidating-

@VanadiumIChing (2/2) I will give credit where credit is due. The animation of TLoK looks beautiful and crisp, the villains are amazing and very compelling, and it was pretty cool seeing how the world changed since ATLA, and we got to meet some old faces all grown up. Maybe I need a rewatch tho

@VanadiumIChing (1/2) I liked TLoK, that said, I don't like it nearly as much as ATLA. I think the main reason is I'm just not as attached to the Krew as I am with the Gaang, and I love most ATLA characters more in general. Also, the Book 1 love triangle plot and majority of Book 2 were a wash.
