I'm afraid it will still be a while before I'm ready. but when I am, I hope the wait will be worth it! (And hopefully, HOPEFULLY, a demo right across the corner afterwards!)

Sorry for being so quiet. I promise Rifted Worlds is still being worked on, slowly but surely. I felt I was stagnating my social media presence by just retreading old stuff, so I decided to hold off until I can provide a new breath of fresh air. I'm slow cooking at the moment.

This is the highest possible launch value currently achievable in-game. I'm starting to wonder I should cap it. Or just let you BE the Skyrim giant. #gamedev #gamemaker

You can perform a dash jump, like in Mega Man X! If you jump again right before landing, you will maintain the momentun, allowing for a series of bunny hops! #gamedev #gamemaker

@Tiandeos I'm hoping the environment will clue people in a little. Strange alcove? Little plateau? Could be something there.

@the_MegaByte Wouldnt it be too hard to find ? Like will there be any clue apart from wall itself?

Breakable walls were added! They look no different from any other wall, so search anywhere potentially suspicious! #gamedev #gamemaker

@MaxCreed122 Yeah, it sadly won't be a decision that will please everyone. But if it helps, swinging your weapon is enough to make a fake wall spark. So checking is at least easy.

@the_MegaByte Please no. PLEASE NO 😭. i will get ultra paranoic and try everywhere and everytime wasting time and getting frustrated. (In the chance i actually find it, it will not be satisfying as i will feel i probably lost a lot of these even if i didn't)

@Simon57204094 I'm hoping the environment will be enough to clue people in. Bombable walls will also spark when hit with a weapon

@the_MegaByte Okay but does it have spme hints or are they like just somewhere? Remindd me of the firdt zelda. But at your game you dont need a resource to check walls?

@Simon57204094 Largely personal preference. I like stuff like this because they feel like actually uncovering a secret. Seeing something suspicious and getting rewarded for digging a little deeper. Having an obvious visual cue wouldn't be as satisfying to me

@Begaria I do get this isn't a design decision that would make everyone happy. I personally find it more satisfying this way, though. Like you notice a suspicious area and you're rewarded for finding something others might miss. I don't think it's as satisfying with an obvious visual cue.

@the_MegaByte The reason Zelda adds cracks in the walls is because it's a really, really, really good indicator to zone players into the secrets. Looking no different from any other wall means I am 100% going to spend my time hitting every single wall in the game slowing progression.
