Copied the response to GPT and then I was told it was a malicious script meant to install malware into my system. Got curious and pasted the zoom link in gpt and it said it wasn’t zoom But “zoomweb” at the end rather than “zoom.web” Shut down my laptop and went to sleep. Omo

Got in the meeting and everyone was mute. Turned off my microphone and waited then I go hit with a pop up saying I don’t have the zoom app. Clicked install zoom and a script ran in my terminal. It failed multiple times cause I clicked it multiple times. Continue 👇

Applied for a Job online. Got sent an email that I’ve a meeting with them after about a week. The day of the meeting I was sent a zoom link apparently it was a bitly link. Clicked it and was redirected to a zoom meeting (false zoom meeting btw).

A guy on a dev forum got a “remote job” offer. Pay was solid. Everything looked legit. They didn’t even rush him. Interviews felt normal. Communication was clean. After a few days, they gave him a “test task”… “Clone this repo and run the project locally.”
