@OHWXisweird March 5, 2022 (Winterset EF4) by comparison had steeper mid and upper level lapse rates with more shear between 1 and 6 km. Slightly more backed winds near the surface also helps.

I wonder why today only produced a meager tornado or two. Environment wise, it was pretty damn good, good LL instability and LL shear + proximity to SFC Low. We even got discrete storms. Could this be problem with too strong SRI with not enough nudgers to balance?

@Mr_GinoDash @banz_gd cataclysm is either a four-block-wide structure with a three-block gap with full spikes lining the top and bottom (new) or full spikes on only the top (old), whereas this is a two-block-wide structure with a full spike on the NE and SW corners and smaller spikes elsewhere

NEW: NASA's Artemis II has successfully blasted off, launching toward the Moon for the first lunar voyage in 53 years. Here is what to expect next: - Mission is 10 total days. - The crew will get 5000 miles from the Moon's surface. - The crew will sleep in two four-hour periods. - On Day 2, Orion engines will accelerate the spacecraft to escape velocity and send them toward the Moon. - On Days 3-5, the crew will fine-tune the approach to the Moon. - Day 6 is when the crew flies by the Moon.
