While I am super excited for Dread's new update today that instakills Samus, 0% Hard mode already does that for like half of the game and I already conquered that, lol.

Finally! After 40-50 deaths pre-Raven Beak and 65 deaths against him, my 0% Hard, counterless, sequence breakless run is complete! Time was 4:40, probably get under 4 hours with more practice, but I'm no speedrunner. That was fun. Thanks, Nintendo. #MetroidDread #NintendoSwitch

Hot take: I don’t like when these kind of rereleases include stuff like saves states and rewind features. What should be preserved is the game and how you play them, and these additional bells & whistles encourage you to play unauthentically.

@OmegaMetroidPod At this point, I think they would be more willing to make a Prime Trilogy remaster on Switch 2 *AFTER* Prime 4. If it has the AI upscaling that's been rumored, they may not need to do much to have it look close to Prime 4. Plus, Nintendo loves to rerelease stuff.

This month marks 7 years since Metroid Prime 4's reveal. Since then, we've waited an entire console generation to even SEE what this game looks like, and still we know nothing. We are owed a gameplay trailer this month.

@MetroidTheorist It also set Guasti on a path (maybe he already was) to get a real job in the industry. Whoever was mad at Nintendo and held a vendetta should have gone out and touched grass, imo.

@MetroidTheorist The beauty of shutting down AM2R was that it let the community truly take hold of it; something Nintendo was not able to stop, effectively making the shutdown completely ineffective. Unless Guasti had visions for it that never bore fruit, but it was at v1.1 when he stopped.

@MetroidFREAK21 @MyNintendoNews With QoL! So we don't hear Prime 1 tracks again, so we don't see enemies respawn after being offscreen for 20 feet, so enemy placement doesn't remind us just how much they wanted to shoehorn the counter into a huge chunk of rooms.
