Poor performance yesterday and the lads know it. All credit to @Basingstoke_FC who were faster, stronger and more focussed than us - especially in the first 45 minutes. Somehow we walked off the pitch with a point gained on the chasing pack in the play offs. Off the pitch it was another successful day at The Memorial Ground. For all the fear-mongering about Basingstoke fans from other clubs, I thought they were brilliant throughout and perfectly respectful from what I’ve seen. Buoyed by a great performance from their team. I honestly believe if you treat fans right and offer a good day out, you get the right treatment back. Hopefully everyone had a good day. We move to @PlymouthPFC away on Tuesday and a late night coach ride. I remember only a year ago, every game was a “local derby”. Now we’re playing proper football - yes it might be a bit harder - but it’s a lot more fun. Enjoy the highs. Don’t get too low in the lows. We’re 2nd in the league with 8 wins from our last 10. Up the town 🙏🏼
