Biggest issue is it damn near impossible to secure the Strait of Hormuz. All it takes is a few sunken oil tankers to shut down the Strait entirely. With Iran's Drone Boats that disguise themselves as fishing boats then turn into tanker torpedoes. Iran also has the high ground of cliffs and mountains to reign fire down below. They are known for their multi-faceted attack combining Drones, fast attack boats, mines and rockets which are hard to defend against.
