@GbdocTChost A6. Out out out. It is me now and I don't care. Show the world my tech and that I have T1D. It happened once to me that I inspired a 7 year old to not cover up her libre with a jumper. It was a hot summer day too. If I can inspire more, I'll keep doing it!

Q6. Finally... If you could walk the runway tomorrow, would you do it pump out or not? Lila Moss wore her Omnipod and Dexcom out on the runway and on the red carpet at the Met Gala 22 #GBDoc

@GbdocTChost A5. Rarely but I like the idea. I have a few Halloween libre stickers I'm excited to use soon! I also dressed my pen recently!

Q5. Any fashionistas dress their tech? I use Type One Style patches for my sites and sensors and I coordinate them with the seasons, or with my outfit for a special occasion! #GBDoc

@GbdocTChost A4. I have various bands for the libre to keep it attached. Lots of kinesiology tape too. Adhesive remover spray for the sticky stuff and barrier spray to help stick!
English

Q4. Any tips or products that people particularly love for their tech? I use a Hid-In pump waistband for my Ypsomed which I love because I don't need to have the pump accessible but I used belt clips exclusively with my Medtronic #GBDoc

@GbdocTChost A3. None really. Blood spots on clothes or losing a libre while taking off a tshirt
English

Q3. It's happened to all of us.. Let's hear your fashion fails with your tech! My most memorable is captured on film where my pump tried to leave my bra during my wedding 😂 #GBDoc

@john_spenceley Sometimes that's a good thing though! Prevents a drop while asleep?
English

@type1d3 I got drunk and woke up on the sofa having failed to take my basal the other week

@GbdocTChost A2. Only libre2 and a phone needed for me really. It's pain if in work meetings and it looks like I'm on my phone.
English

Q2. One thing I struggled with is accessing the tech- do you need to get to yours to see your sensor data (eg Medtronic, TSlim) and does this change where you put it? #GBDoc
English

@GbdocTChost A1. Fast acting pen in my pocket with a preloaded needle (I know, I know!). Everything else in a bum bag but worn across my chest! I have a more fancy bag for better occasions.
English

Q1. Let's begin with an easy one: where do you stash your tech? Mine depends on the outfit- I've used bra, garter, waistband, special pump band, pockets.. My test kit is in a pretty purse #GBDoc

@type1d3 It happens so rarely, whenever it does, I take it as a very positive sign that we are not completely overtaken by and utterly preoccupied with our condition
It’s a very good sign!
As long as it doesn’t happen too often

Really enjoy caching up on @GbdocTChost on a Thursday. Always struggle to attend live.

@type1d3 My annual T1D check in Dublin was a 'one-stop-shop'. Bloods, eye screening, foot check...they even did an ECG by default. In UK I had to make appt with community chiropodist & ECGs were never part of the checks here. Probably not strictly required and may have changed back home.
