@harbs16 @Brett_A_Taylor Good call. I admittedly didn't consider that. However, I still think the rule could apply with the provision that if a ball call is overturned to strike, the play at second can be reviewed and called as if a traditional steal attempt at that point.

On all walks, throw to a base where a runner is arriving, tag hand/foot BEFORE it arrives (since, you know, that's not obstruction apparently), mess with his trajectory, & hope it knocks him off the base as he puts his hand or foot down. Keep applying the tag, & it's a free out.

@Brett_A_Taylor This was exactly my gripe! He was interfered with before he had a chance to make contact with the base. He should get the base based on that alone. And, replay umps should have interpreted it that way.

@DEvanAltman Here's one last update for anyone who may be in my position.: I got on a live chat with a DirecTV cs agent. The agent checked and said I should indeed have MARQ. (Entertainment pkg plus Sports Pack). Told me he'd activate it and within five mins it was on! I was shocked.

@DEvanAltman I have NSCH 665 as a regional sports channel but was told MARQ is not regional for me.

Looks like DirecTV authentication still isn’t available through Marquee app.

@DEvanAltman I'm going to just give it time and hope there are just wrinkles that need to be ironed out. Looking at replies to Marquee Network's tweets, others seem to be in similar situations.

@DEvanAltman Just to update others who might be in my situation, I'm in 61265. Directv MARQ 664 showing in my guide but message says I'm not subscribed. I have entertainment pkg as well as sports pack. Called DTV and was told Marquee not available in my zip code with any package. Confused.

@DEvanAltman Evan! Great info as always today. Wonding if you know whether a DirecTV subscriber with the entertainment pkg AND add on "sports pack" (which boasts regional sports channels) would get Marquee without needing to upgrade packages.
