A massive heads up to CSMOA. Two massive weeks ahead regarding promotion to the WDCU Premiership next season. It’s critical umpires are chosen wisely for these fixtures. One umpire in particular has very close ties with one of these clubs. We have seen a conflict of interests fairly regular this season. Not blaming CSMOA. They have my respect. The last thing the district needs is yet another scandal (bearing in mind GHK should already have been demoted for fielding an illegitimate player in Nawib Mohammad Kabir).

Exciting news - the big reveal -our breath has been baited and we hear today the Western Cup final will be played on Sunday at the Henry Thow Oval @Pwick_Cricket a wee trip to the costa del Clyde.

And the idea of youth players playing against top players can only help development. 5 x U21 in team. Two must bat in top 6 and two must bowl. Pro and or am can only bowl 20 balls between them and only one can bat it top 6

@UddyCricket @thehundred @Trent__Rockets @HGTCInvincibles McCulloch on a Sunday, groups of 3, 2 games for home team on the day, over 3 weeks, then go into knockout/finals day. Play at end of the season when there is less cricket.

The @thehundred has been a great success this summer with outstanding games. Tonight sees @Trent__Rockets v @HGTCInvincibles in what will be an action packed game. Would we like to see this exciting format of the game in Scotland, replacing one of the midweek T20 competitions?

@DujonSterling1 @RangersFC Wait… both teams are playing in the same colour of shorts. This is an infringement of SFA guidelines, rule 56 paragraph 3. I think this means the result is invalid and the game will have to be played again or both teams deducted 10 points.
