Build. Deploy. Break. Fix. Repeat.

My first app is live on the App Store. ScreenFine started as a personal problem. I kept telling myself I'd spend less time on my phone, and kept not doing it. Screen time reports never changed anything because nothing was actually on the line. So I built something that puts something on the line. ScreenFine fines you a small amount every time you blow past your own limits. Small enough to sting, not enough to hurt. And if you don't want to pay, you earn it back the hard way: pushups, steps, mindful minutes, Apple Watch workouts. Go over, do the work, clear the fine. $1/week. Built solo with SwiftUI and Apple's Screen Time frameworks. This is the first time I've shipped something all the way to approval that nobody asked me to build. I just wanted it to exist. If your screen time guilt isn't turning into actual change, give it a shot. And tell me what breaks, I'm listening. link: apps.apple.com/us/app/screenf…
