We had a busy two days doing trial work with the ARA. Dallisgrass, buttonweed, crabgrass + white clover, nutsedge. Most will be on show at the Sep 18 Field Day. mafes.msstate.edu/workshops/turf/

Demo of Ecorobotix prototype machine-vision sprayer at the Independence Golf Course Turfgrass Research Classic and Field Day hosted by Virginia Tech and the Virginia Golf Course Superintendents Association. Our research shows 75 to over 90% reductions in herbicide use with this machine. Enhanced turf safety allows for more aggressive treatments and better weed resistance management. More to come!

Easy to spot the zoysiagrass contamination on this bermudagrass research green by the lack of annual bluegrass. Turfgrass selection can be the foundation to a good weed control program.
