My physical + digital art journey. I love mixing media to create something uniquely mine.

Every now and then, a story comes along that reminds me why I care so deeply about this space — and about the Tezos community in particular. This is one of those moments. While discussing an upcoming exhibition with @RJ16848519 , he proposed a different future for the five (brilliant) unreleased works from his Screen Time series: donating them, so that all the revenue could go toward collecting 1/1 works by emerging artists from the community. Not his exact words — and yes, “emerging artists” is one of those slightly awkward labels we all keep using while wishing for a better one — but that was the spirit. I was genuinely moved. His feeling was simple: there is so much talent here, so much art that deserves more visibility and care. This was his way of giving back. So I opened a new digital collecting wallet — currently called Tezos Community Art Collection (name very much open for suggestions 👀). The five works by RJ will go on auction this Monday. Every tez raised will be used to collect art, curated by a small group coming together this weekend — artists, collectors, and curators — with the intention of building a diverse, thoughtful selection. This collection won’t belong to any one person, and its future is still open — which feels important. For now, this is simply a first step. The immediate goal is to circulate tez back into the ecosystem by collecting 1/1s on primary, across Tezos platforms. I’ll share a proper shill post soon. For now, I just wanted to share this story — and RJ’s generosity. Link to his collection below 🤍
