Mainstream US media responds to Israel’s targeted assassination of veteran reporter Steve Sweeney: “Danger very close”

The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) states: “Israel has now killed more journalists than any other government since CPJ began collecting data in 1992, making this war the deadliest on record for journalists.” The IDF has also carried out more targeted killings which were murders in direct reprisal for journalistic work than any other military on record in the ongoing Israeli aggressions on Palestine and Lebanon. Justice must be done for the murdered reporters and media workers. Grand total documented by CPJ attributed to Israeli forces from 1992 to present is 272 human lives. That is 252 lives since Oct 2023 + 20 lives before the aggression war. No other military or government force has ever killed as many as approximately 272 journalists and media workers the way and manner the monster 🇮🇱 did.
