FOREARM FRACTURE
(Victor Osimhen Injury Update)
According to Turkish journalist @yakupcinar, it has been confirmed that Nigerian and Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen sustained a forearm fracture following a collision with Konaté in yesterday’s match.
What is a forearm fracture?
The forearm is made up of two bones, the radius and the ulna. A fracture refers to a break in one or both of these bones.
What does this mean for his recovery?
- If the bones remain well aligned, treatment may involve immobilisation in a cast for about 4 weeks.
- However, if the fracture is unstable or displaced, surgical intervention may be required to properly realign and fix the bones.
At this stage, the hope is that the injury is stable enough to be managed conservatively with just a cast.
Wishing Victor Osimhen a speedy and full recovery.
And to those who doubted him and accused him of exaggerating, this is a reminder that he was genuinely in pain. Not every fall is theatrics.
Stay strong, Champ 🙏
