If Jay Z would have smoked Makaveli like y'all claim he would have, he would have had to go a gazillion times harder than this. I know damn well "Dead Or Alive" wasn't the "career ending" Makaveli diss track that Jay Z performed at the Apollo after his death. This shit would have done absolutely zero damage; Clark Kent was just a 2Pac hater. Objectively speaking, Makaveli went way harder in "All Out" and "Bomb First (My Second Reply)" than Jay Z did in these two tracks. He rapped much better. I know how much y'all love to say "lyrically" and "technically"; well, guess what? These Makaveli verses clear these Jay Z verses lyrically and technically too. When Makaveli said, "Murder muthafuckas, lyrically," he wasn't lying; and had Jay Z released "Dead Or Alive" while Makaveli was alive, it would have been much worse for him.
