My work from Episode 8 of #MaulShadowLord! My final task as an intern at #Lucasfilm last summer was to create this matte painting from scratch. I had free rein to light, paint, and design the scene however I wanted, working within the guidelines set by the story team. #StarWars

A shot I worked on for Episode 7 of #MaulShadowLord! This is the same subway station environment that I worked on from Episode 5, but at night. This scene involved projection mapped 2D digital paintwork on top of 3D geometry. I also added a waterfall! #StarWars #Animation #VFX

Night of the Hunted. An (unofficial) poster I painted for Chapter 6 of #MaulShadowLord Chapters 5 & 6 are both very special to me as they were the first episodes I worked on as an intern at Lucasfilm! I couldn’t feel prouder to have helped them to life. #StarWars #Animation

I worked on the gunship chase sequence from Episode 6 of #MaulShadowLord! For the scenes featured here, I created cityscape environments, composited matte elements, and assisted with lighting. I also painted brushstrokes for some of the VFX! #StarWars #Lucasfilm #Animation #VFX

Shots I worked on for Episode 5 of #MaulShadowLord! For the scenes featured here, I expanded views of the Janix city by integrating 2D digital paintwork into each environment. This process involved adding extra buildings, architecture, and VFX! #StarWars #Lucasfilm #Animation

A shot I worked on for #MaulShadowLord Episode 2! For this scene, I designed and composited paintwork for the cityscape/architecture surrounding these Janix highways. I also painted directly over the 3D assets to give the lighting a more graphic flourish! #StarWars #Animation
