Later this month, Obidients will do their third exodus from a political party. They don’t know it yet but they will soon enough. Ante bellum is kesekese, there is kasakasa which is post bellum. Think about how clueless you must be as a group that for 4 solid years, you couldn’t organise yourselves into a system, roaming aimlessly like livestock whose owner has lost his own head.

STATEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE PRESIDENT TINUBU APPROVES N3.3 TRILLION PAYMENT PLAN TO RESTORE RELIABLE ELECTRICITY President Bola Tinubu has approved the payment plan to finally settle the outstanding debts under the Presidential Power Sector Financial Reforms Programme. The debt repayment plan followed the final review of the legacy debts that have beset the power sector for more than a decade. The long-standing debts accumulated between February 2015 and March 2025. Following verification, ₦3.3 trillion has been agreed as a full and final settlement, ensuring a fair and transparent resolution. Implementation has begun, with 15 power plants signing settlement agreements totalling ₦2.3 trillion. The Federal Government has already raised ₦501 billion to fund these payments. Out of the amount, N223 billion has been disbursed, with further payments underway. What this means for Nigerians: With payments reaching the power value chain, generation will be more stable. With power plants supported, electricity reliability will improve. And as the sector stabilises, more investment, more jobs, and better service will follow. “This programme is not just about settling legacy debts. It is about restoring confidence across the power sector — ensuring gas suppliers are paid, power plants can keep running, and the system begins to work more reliably," explained Olu Arowolo-Verheijen, Special Adviser on Energy to President Tinubu. “It is part of a broader set of reforms already underway — including better metering and service-based tariffs that link what you pay to the quality of electricity you receive. “The government is also prioritising power supply to businesses, industries, and small enterprises — because reliable electricity is critical to creating jobs, supporting livelihoods, and growing the economy. “The goal is simple: more reliable power for homes, stronger support for businesses, and a system that works better for all Nigerians," she added. President Tinubu has commended all stakeholders who supported efforts to resolve the legacy issues in the power sector. He has also confirmed that the next phase (Series II) will begin this quarter. Tinubu’s 2023 vote breakdown tells an interesting story. Despite being a Southern candidate, the bulk of his votes came from the North. I doubt if he'll get 15% this time around In sha Allah. North: 5.64Milion votes 62% South: 3.47Million votes 38%

ADC leaders reneged on agreement reached with Expired Chairman Ralph Nwosu where they promised Bala Nafiu Gombe the position of the National Vice Chairman North East says @ElishaCliff 2: questions: -(a): Who and who betrayed Nafiu Gombe that he was sidelined by the ex Chairman David Mark? -(b): is there any evidence that Tinubu was present when they offered Bala Nafiu Gombe the position of the National Vice Chairman North East by ADC to cause the crisis? 3: Conclusion: ADC leaders are responsible for their reckless decision to betray Nafiu Gombe. Dem carry that impunity of PDP to ADC. 4: enjoy your Easter guys.

Peter Obi’s “Abacha Was a True Democrat” Takes a Hilarious Smoke-Filled Dive into the Abacha Stove Era – Obidients Born 1999 Left Coughing TROJANBEAST NEWS Lagos, April 5, 2026 In a move smoother than sawdust burning in a tin can, former Labour Party candidate Peter Obi dropped the hottest take since 1996: late military dictator General Sani Abacha was apparently a “true democrat” and way more respectful of human rights than those pesky NADECO activists now running things. Obi tweeted something like: “Yesterday’s democracy defenders are today’s destroyers… Abacha will be remembered as more democratic than the NADECO champions.” The timeline exploded. Especially from the Obidient army — that fierce cohort born 1999 and after, still rocking diapers when Abacha was democratising kerosene queues into oblivion. These digital warriors, armed with WiFi and zero memory of actual hardship, rushed to defend their oga like he just invented fuel subsidies. Enter the Abacha Stove — the real MVP of the regime. While Abacha’s boys were allegedly busy making opponents disappear faster than opposition votes, ordinary Nigerians were out here engineering survival from scrap metal and sawdust. Kerosene? Scarcely like honest politicians. Petrol? For the connected only. So, families improvised: they punched holes in old paint cans, packed them with carpenter’s waste, lit them up, and coughed their way through cooking eba while inhaling enough smoke to qualify for a free chest X-ray. Meme lords didn’t hold back: “Peter Obi said Abacha democratised human rights. Bros, the only thing he democratised was lung cancer via Abacha Stove! Your Obidients born 1999 are typing ‘Abacha was based’ from their air-conditioned rooms while their uncles were using that tin-can contraption because fuel vanished like NADECO members in the night.” One savage reply went: “Obidients: ‘Abacha respected rights more!’ Meanwhile in 1996: Mama using Abacha stove to boil water, eyes red like she just watched June 12 results, kids outside playing ‘dodge the Strike Force.’ But sure, tell us more about this superior democracy, Mr. Obi. Your generation was busy trading during the era while others were dodging bullets.” The jabs turned extra spicy toward the Ibo corner of the Obidient base. “These Igbos and their selective history revisionism sha. One minute they’re shouting ‘Ibo marginalisation’ louder than a generator in fuel scarcity, next minute their messiah is polishing Abacha’s image like it’s Anambra marble. Bros, during Abacha your people were busy importing goods and ‘managing’ while Yoruba NADECO guys were in exile eating tear gas for breakfast. Now you want to teach us that the man who turned kitchens into smokehouses was the real democrat? Abeg, carry your Abacha stove and go and democratise your own suffering!” Another viral gem: “Born 1999 Obidient Ibo youth: ‘Abacha was better!’ Their grandfather: still has a permanent cough from sawdust fumes while queuing for kerosene that never came. The irony is thicker than the black smoke from that stove. Peter Obi just turned his ‘New Nigeria’ into ‘Smoke Nigeria’ — and the Igbos are fanning the flames like it’s election season in Onitsha.” Supporters tried the classic “it was irony about today’s government” spin, but the roasts were already too hot. One perfect closer: “Abacha didn’t just rule with decrees — he ruled with sawdust. Obi is out here making the man sound like a freedom fighter while Obidients born after the suffering are caping for the era that invented DIY pollution. Next, they’ll say the Strike Force was just community policing with extra steps.” As the memes keep rolling thicker than Abacha-era smoke, one thing is crystal clear: trying to launder the Abacha years in 2026 is like praising the Abacha Stove for its “eco-friendly” vibes while your eyes are still watering. The cough lingers, the laughter is savage, and the Ibos in the Obidient camp just got served a plate of hot, smoky reality.

Two days ago, I was still with Mr. Kunle Ajibade in his Acme Road office in Lagos. This veteran journalist, who was an Editor of The News magazine in the 1990s, actively participated in the national movement against Abacha’s deadly junta. Ajibade faced treason charges after publishing his famous article titled “No one guilty: The Commission of Inquiry presents an empty file regarding suspects in the coup d’état”, which angered Abacha and his henchmen. The article forensically examined the alleged 1995 coup plot against Abacha and the frantic efforts to legitimise Abacha’s decision to sentence the suspects to death. In July 1995, Ajibade was secretly tried by a special military tribunal set up by Sani Abacha and sentenced to life imprisonment. However, his sentence was later commuted to 15 years after international condemnation. He was detained at Makurdi prison where he endured severe torture at the hands of Abacha’s men. Ajibade spent three years in Makurdi prison before being released in July 1998 following Abacha’s death. Two days ago, while speaking with him, he still pointed to the joint fracture he suffered from the torture inflicted on him by Abacha’s men. Coincidentally, he is on the verge of marking the 31st year of his detention and prison ordeal. Today, Peter Obi said Abacha was more democratic than a man who stood in the vanguard of pro-democracy movement in the Nigeria. One Northern old fool, Shakabula, is defending the evil perpetrated by Abacha… all because they hate Bola Tinubu — one of the thousands that fought Abacha.
Olufemi Adebimpe@femiadebimpe

Kunle Ajibade was the Editor of The News magazine and he was sentenced to life for treason for publishing a story on the same coup during Abacha's reign. People were doing life in prison while Peter Obi was getting Port appointment from.the same dictator.

Big Mistakes made by Coalition leaders: 1: They should have registered a new party. 2: they should have kept a distance from the new registered party for a long time. Then wait for electoral act to officially join the new party. 3: they have angers issues instead of focusing on how to win election via Research. 4: they talked too much.
