This is a good time to put Varroa inspection boards to monitor average daily mite drop. Put Boards under open mesh floors for a week. Divide mites seen by no. of days. Compare drop with NBU threshold guidance. Licensed oxalic acid is normal treatment when colonies broodless

@britishbee @pollinisation Using a Varroa monitoring tray can also help you spot if your colonies have varroa-resistant traits. Look out for parts of bee pupae on the monitoring tray along with a low mite drop. Lots more info on varroaresistant.uk
