20 years ago I started my Phd and read Bascompte et al. 2003 PNAS on the prevalence of nestedness for plant-pollinator networks. Today, we publish a pice confirming empirically (6 years of data across 12 sites) that the structure of interactions carries predictive power.

We have an outstanding biodiversity in Spain and, in my opinion, Podarcis pityusensis is one the most beautiful endemisms we have. Recently, I have had the opportunity to work with this species in an exciting photographic project that combines science and conservation. More soon!
