I had a really difficult week. My depression and anxiety, usually okay. This week got to me. I got myself drunk. Going to bed now. I am just so sad. About so many things. I was lied to for so long. And I didnt want to see it, so I didnt.

With all the talk about the USA hosting the soccer (or futbol if you prefer), Skippy has decided to play, to try his paws at the game.

The first not-in-the-attic breakfast. A lot of uncertainty. Sammy and Scottie poked their little heads out to assess the situation. First out in Sammy, then Scottie, and finally Scooter.
Meanwhile, Skippy is playing and being goofy.

I recently bought a new mattress. The old one is leaning against the wall. It is 1 o’clock in the morning. What are Skippy and Lil’ Bit doing? Playing on the mattress of course. Did I mention it is 1 o’clock in the morning?

@salterfry I’ve never watched Pet Sematary because I read the ending of the book with every light on, shivering. No movie could compare. But Green Mile and Shawshank are masterpieces in both mediums. (I have aphantasia, so I can hear his characters, but sadly can’t see them in my head.)

@CCC_Lead I don't like watching movies based on his books for this reason! I know what the characters look and sound like. I also never read the epilogue to The Dark Tower. I know what happened to Roland. Drives my ex nuts!

I cannot tell you what a huge Stephen King fan I am. My mom (God rest her) would buy me first edition paperbacks as presents because they are my precious. (Yes, I know I mixed genres)

Saw a friend and his wife this evening. I was asked whether or not I had a girlfriend. I said not. She said, you just need to get out and find one. I said it is not easy, and that women I am interested in are not interested in me, and vice versa. She said that is nonsense, I should just go find someone. I said it is not that easy, and I'm old, fat, and ugly. Her response? You're not that fat.

@kaijugamer2000 Honestly, I couldn’t even tell you. Godzilla movies have been part of my life since I was a kid in the ’60s, along with Hammer horror, American International Vincent Price Poe tales (and many Roger Corman AI options), Harryhausen stop-motion and classic Universal monsters.
