@SurePlug27046@banks_neche I wear a cross around my neck but whenever I’m praying I don’t think about praying to th cross I think about praying to Jesus
@SurePlug27046@banks_neche They used cross just as a different word for tree wood or stake. This doesn’t change the fact that Jesus was crucified on a cross
@CarterCook623e I'm talking about bigfoot. I don't expect that level of evidence for Jesus, I'm not even saying the man never existed.
Just that some of the claims made about him are unbelievable.
@evilsteveve Yeah but what if 500 people said they saw Bigfoot? Because that’s what happened after Jesus arose. According to Paul 500 people saw him at one time
@KeinerLachtOhne@JadeK526@godlywomanhood Every modern credible historian knows what I’m saying is true. The gospels were written by real people who were the disciples of Jesus, and many external sources, such as letters, and written documents back this up. You are purposefully denying facts for no reason.
@KeinerLachtOhne@JadeK526@godlywomanhood Like this is historical fact not from the Bible, literally search up in google “how and why did Jesus’ 12 disciples die.” This isn’t something to debate or mock. This literally happened as a fact.
@CarterCook623e So this is the narrative. The cartoon makes sense.
You are right that we don't just look at facts, we have lives too, it's not a bad thing.
Testimonial evidence is fine, until is get supernatural. Then I become very skeptical.
@KeinerLachtOhne@JadeK526@godlywomanhood No we also can’t prove if he resurrected or not because his tomb was empty and Paul even said 500 people saw him at one time after his resurrection. Not to mention all 12 of his disciples were willing to die for the claim that he resurrected
