None of the Fromsoft games are actually hard, compared to alot of older games, but saying ER is the easiest is just wrong. DsS and DS2 i could genuinely beat in my sleep

@CodeYaMaster @LukeCB14 @ShitpostRock2 i feel like this is actually just not true at all. with some experience in any of the fromsoft games not every boss is just a one and done. the reason elden ring bosses seem so hard is because their aggro is supposed to be split between you and a summon

@WillowMoment_ @LukeCB14 @ShitpostRock2 Sure, but only to a certain point. Some bosses will still be a challenge. Comparing that to DS1, DS2 or bloodborne, which don't have any remotely hard bosses in the base game, is laughable. You have to actively try to die to those bosses

@CodeYaMaster @LukeCB14 @ShitpostRock2 sure, the stuff where you can 1 shot everything with 100 buffs hotswapping talismans and helmets and shit? barely anyone is doing that. but so many weapons/ashes or war/spells+incantations in that game let you breeze through it while hardly even trying be for real

@WillowMoment_ @LukeCB14 @ShitpostRock2 But genuinely, who plays like that in a normal playthrough? Sure, you can use every buff there is, use the strongest AoW, but that is not the norm. If youre using the absolute optimum, none of these games are hard in the slightest.

@PiggyKropotkinn I wholeheartedly disagree. Sure, it can be the easiest, if you buff stack to oblivion and/or go look for the strongest setup for each boss to just OHK them. But if you play "normal" you'll get your ass whooped by some bosses, esp dlc. I'd argue, ds1 or ds2 are easiest

@Peko_girlboss I really don't know what people are talking about under here. In my last playthrough, my highest pokemon at the end was 53, lowest 48. There really is never any grind necessary if you know what you're doing. Matching Cynthias level is just not necessary.

@elbethium @StairMasterNem Imo, playing the Original DeS on PC emulator gets you the best of both worlds. It's perfectly stable 60fps, and you get the og art direction and music. On top of that, the community has a mods for it too

@StairMasterNem Absolutely i agree for music. But especially knowing the game's history, where it changed so many hands, had no idea what it was going to be, no. These two games run on same hardware. One has aesthetic, other one is self inflicted technical limitation.
