@logue_phil @HoolyMcg Poor flour quality and terrible for baking. Wa researchers Williams, Diepeveen and Evans wrote an International paper on falling numbers on wheat’s likely hood of low falling numbers. Happy to share

@freshy1973 We find crossing black heads with anything with Wilshire background throws a lot a full blacks. The colour genetic is quite different to many other animals.

@DamScanlan there's a couple of blacks and quite a few whites in other flocks. Got a lot of embryos heading over from here later in the year, but the quarrantine set up took a bit longer than anticipated for lambs this year

Very impressed with the Fusarium resistance of some of the new wheat candidates. Kasuku is just too susceptible and risky - on to of its sprouting. Shows the value of purposefully looking for difficult sites through the selection process to weed out weak material.
