President Trump signed an executive order that is focused on expanding access to IVF. This is a bad executive order because IVF is bad. The White House should just scrap this.

IVF is anti-MAHA. It’s the perfect example of what’s wrong with much of modern medicine in America. Instead of getting to the root cause of infertility, it masks the symptoms with a “solution” that is a threat to women’s health. The process almost always involves the destruction or indefinite freezing of embryos. It is unbelievably unregulated in the United States, and I fear this latest EO will only make it worse.

Not a great start for MAHA. IVF sells out to the very structures and systems we've heard you and others in the movement rightly call out. Let us focus on genuine fertility health...not on enriching big pharma and corporate disease care.

Restorative reproductive medicine (RRM) is more effective than IVF, is cheaper than IVF, and has zero of the ethical issues. BIG FERTILITY doesn't sell RRM because it's not the IVF cash cow selling powerful drugs, injections and labs where embryos are created and frozen. RRM focuses on improving health of our natural reproductive systems. We should be funding and encouraging RRM, not IVF! @realDonaldTrump

President Trump definitely needs to be informed of the dark truth about IVF, every child who survives represents many who died. IVF in anti-life, it is yet another attempt to play god.

Years ago, my little sister got pregnant out of wedlock. She was terrified. She told me first. I told her congratulations but also acknowledged how scary and crazy the situation felt for her. She told me later the congrats and positivity gave her courage. Later, I went with her to tell our dad. She fully knew he disapproved of sex out of wedlock. There had been all kinds of fights between my sister and my parents leading up the pregnancy about her behavior. But when she told our dad, terrified, he said, “I’m going to be a grandpa again!! I am so happy. You already know I wish it was under different circumstances but I am so excited about this beautiful new baby and you are very blessed, my daughter!” and he went and literally opened a bottle of champagne to celebrate. My sister ended up marrying the father of her baby and they are now happily married with four more babies. Her unplanned pregnancy also was the impetus for her to return to her faith and redirect her life. She’s an amazing mom and wife. I’m incredibly proud of her and inspired by her. One more note: My dad said a lot more than what was quoted above. Sharing this small window here into their conversation. I have a few chapters in Fighting for Life where I tell the story (with everyone’s permission.) I am very proud of my Dad and Mom, too, for how they loved my sister and her baby through that time.
