@KirkTovey Losing 3 integral players is a tough predicament and puts a lot of pressure on the recruitment team to find the right replacements who have the best prospects of achieving the same outcomes but I wouldn’t want to hold any of those players back if moving on/up is what they want.

@KirkTovey In theory I agree with this but in reality the players individually are professionals looking to achieve the most they can out of their careers and test themselves at the highest level. Part of building a reputation as a club is to do right by your people (inc players).

Let me be clear. If the club want to kick on next season you can’t let all your main XI defenders walk out the door in 1 window leaving smith aged 34 & Senesi who can’t stay fit all season. Give Zab a new contract, some more money & a min release clause for next summer. #afcb
