Iran as a country is better than you can ever be for as long as your US alliance is sustained. What makes you think you are better than a country where despite the wars and the sanctions, they have more STEM graduates each year than any African nation you can mention. They spend way less on energy than any Africa country (the closest was Libya before America destroyed it).
