I spoke about my mum’s breast cancer battle here last year and then I went quiet.
Not because it got better. Not because the fight ended. But because I got tired physically, financially, and mentally. Tired of explaining. Tired of asking. Tired of trying to stay strong.
The truth is, the battle is still ongoing.

English

Life will not wait for you.
It won’t slow down because you’re tired.
It won’t pause because you’re scared.
You either get up now and fight for the life you keep dreaming about… or one day you’ll wake up drowning in regret, wishing you had started when it was uncomfortable.
The pain of discipline hurts.
But the pain of regret? It haunts you for years.
Choose your pain.
Wishing everyone a blessed week❤️

Few weeks back i was diagnosed with a lumbar intervertebral disc herniation (slipped disc) with a disc bulge causing nerve root compression.
The pain was severe.
I could barely move and had to crawl to the toilet. I called NHS 111, then an ambulance, and was taken to the hospital.
An MRI scan confirmed that fluid in my spine was bulging and pressing on my nerves. I was told my back condition was serious and that I would likely need long-term pain management, including morphine and other strong pain relief.
I was admitted to the hospital for several days and treated with morphine and intravenous paracetamol to manage the pain.
During this period, I was unable to care for myself. My husband had to dress me, carry me, and assist me with basic daily activities. I could not lift my hands to eat or drink, and I needed help to turn in bed. I couldn’t bend nor stand nor sit, everything was painful.
Throughout the pain, I prayed and repeatedly called on El Roi, the God who sees.
One evening, despite still being in pain, I felt prompted to sing and worship. I moved gently to dance to Jesus as my parent thought me to dance to Jesus in the face of adversity, even though my mobility was limited. Shortly after, I noticed a change in my body and a reduction in the intensity of the pain.
Over the next 48 hours, the pain continued to reduce. I remained cautious but continued to speak words of faith over my recovery( I kept saying I’ve been healed by his stripes, Jesus has made me whole).
Gradually, my mobility returned.
I can now walk, bend, stand, turn in bed, dress myself, feed myself, and use the toilet independently.
I did not return to collect the prescribed morphine, and I have not needed it since.
Miracles Exists, God exists, my life is a testimony of Gods existence.

Do you believe in miracles? What is that one event that happened in your life , that you can beat your chest and say it was a miracle?

Apologize to the Eagles? For what I believe in? I never said the team don't deserve their money, but I will NEVER support any athlete who chooses to protest in a foreign land. That is what I said, and I STAND BY IT. If you choose to unfollow me as a result or refuse to acknowledge me, that is your choice, but I will never retract my stance.
Jimi@JimvicD
Charles anazodo should apologize to the super eagles of Nigeria. They did the work and the NFF refused to pay them. Instead of @chaplinez70 to call the NFF out and challenge such impunity, he decided to support them. Can he go unpaid for a month? Some Nigerians are hypocrites!

My condolences to Chimamanda and her family on the death of their son. This is a loss that no parent should ever carry.
But two things must be said.
First, notice the hypocrisy.
If this had happened in Nigeria, the usual loud mouths would have rushed out to say “Nigeria happened to her.” They would have blamed hospitals, government, and the entire country.
Now it happened in the United States, and suddenly there is silence. No outrage. No blame. No analysis of their health care system. Just quiet. That tells you everything you need to know about their dishonesty.
Second, look at how Nigerians responded. The President, the public, and people across ethnic lines all set politics aside and showed sympathy. That is culture. That is decency.
Yet there is a group that never changes. These are the same people who mocked Anthony Joshua in his moment of pain. One of them even said “Thank you Jesus.” They celebrate suffering when it does not belong to their side.
That is the difference.
One side understands humanity.
The other side only understands hatred.
And upbringing always shows.

@CharmXtova That’s not accurate. Nwabali wasn’t responsible for the goals Nigeria conceded. The issues came more from defensive lapses and team shape, not goalkeeping errors. The scoreline doesn’t tell the full story, but blaming him alone is unfair.
English

Anyone that missed the game and sees this scoreline would think the game was very tough. They won't know that Tunisia didn't exist in this game until the 74th minute when Nwabali decided to show his routine foolishness.

@blackgoldIfy @VivianIfeomaOj This debate, when framed as a tribal contest, adds little to today’s progress. Let’s focus more on building, innovating, and working together rather than fueling ethnic divisions.
English

@VivianIfeomaOj He was the first African who engaged in Intellectual property theft. A typical Yariba. They gave him their work to publish, the monkey stamped his name on it. He didn't even stay in Igboland for more than a week. The week he was was there, Simon Jonas was translating for him.
English

This is to inform anyone who needs to know, that Samuel Ajayi Crowther did not translate the Bible into Igbo language!
All Ajayi did was to be a part of the publishing. He was more or less a printer. Samuel Ajayi Crowther did not write anything in Igbo!
Apart from Olaudah Equiano, the first recorded Igbo manuscript was writing by Simon Jonas, an ex enslaved Igbo missionary from Sierra Leone. ( Yes, Ndigbo can be found in Sierra Leone).
The Bible translation into Igbo was done by Simon Jonas and another Igbo missionary, J.C Taylor. Ajayi banded himself with them to publish it.

English

@VivianIfeomaOj In a world where people are building technologies that will shape our future, it feels less productive to argue over issues framed in tribal lines. We gain more when we focus on progress and collaboration rather than reopening old ethnic rivalries.

@EmiEleniyan @GeorgiKristien @ifesalakooffice We can disagree on timelines and choices, but facts don’t change because of name-calling. Let’s stick to the substance.
English

@GeorgiKristien @DirectorFlo @ifesalakooffice Don’t mind the idiot…. Someone use 8 yrs to make reforms lol
English

When Fashola became governor of Lagos State and for the first time after Jakande, Lagosians started seeing real growth in Lagos.
At least, about 50 roads may be under reconstruction at the same time and they will usually have this small A-Line board with the inscription “TAX PAYERS MONEY AT WORK”.
At the time, people usually go to Tax offices to make payments simply because they could see that their money is being used for their state.
All these Tinubu’s style of forcing people to pay tax is just a way to prove that he is not creative. Make life better for the people and see how willingly people will pay tax.
Ire o✌🏽
English

@EmiEleniyan @GeorgiKristien @ifesalakooffice No worries. Insults don’t strengthen an argument.
Serious economic reforms often take years of political negotiation, legal changes, and institutional setup, rushing them without sequencing and buffers is exactly why the impact feels so harsh today.
