Mushroom update: what I think is happening here is that after losing the first round mostly to lack of moisture, I am getting a second flush here despite not having removed the first one. I would not have expected the first try to be this resilient.

Another part of the Oldest House, this is the research sector. With a big part missing (the ashtray maze if you must know). Now I'm thinking about laser-cutting the basic floor pieces and 3d print some more complex structures, like the maze, the quarry, etc.
