How some countries in Africa are responding to the ongoing Fuel crisis: Senegal - suspended all non-essential overseas travel for ministers and top government officials. Tanzania - President Samia Suluhu Hassan has directed government institutions to immediately reduce fuel consumption, citing ongoing global shocks that continue to disrupt energy markets and drive up prices. Madagascar - has already declared a nationwide state of energy emergency. Uganda - refused Kenya’s request to access or borrow its fuel reserves. Gambia - announced it would subsidize fuel prices after pump prices skyrocketed. Kenya - announced that it would reduce the Value Addition Tax (VAT) on petroleum products.



Countries moving to ban social media for children. Australia became the world’s first country to ban social media for children under 16 in December 2025. ✔️Denmark is set to ban social media platforms for children under 15. ✔️Greece is said to be close to announcing a social media ban for children under 15, ✔️German Chancellor Friedrich Merz’s conservatives discussed a proposal to bar children under 16 ✔️Maylsia plans to ban social media for children under 16 ✔️Spain plans to ban social media for children under the age of 16. ✔️Slovenia is drafting legislation to prohibit children under 15 from accessing social media, ✔️UK is weighing a ban on social media for children under 16 techcrunch.com/2026/02/17/soc…


Kenya is not among the TOP TEN literate countries & it's dropped significantly since this government took office. This data has really shocked me.
